The Villa:
Villa Lou Capitou is a stylish Provencal stone villa situated in a large garden of one and a half acres. The rooms are spacious, light and have been furnished to provide every comfort. The villa has been tastefully re-decorated and re-furnished to make your stay even more relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.

 

Living room / dining room:
The very spacious and comfortable living room has large windows which open up onto the garden and a beautiful shaded terrace with seating for up to 12 people. For those who like to stay in touch with their favourite radio and television programmes – even while on holiday in France! - the living room is equipped with satellite television and over 60 TV and radio channels are available, including BBC and Sky.

The dining room is furnished with a large dining table with seating for up to 12 people. The villa is equipped with all the crockery and cutlery you will need for an enjoyable stay. For those who like to cook their own Provencal recipes, the kitchen has everything you need to try your hand at a few new recipes with the abundance of local produce.

The views from the terrace are to die for with a panoramic vista of the valley rising up to the village of Le Barroux and Mt Ventoux beyond. It is a breath-taking view that brings pleasure 24 hours of the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bedrooms / bathrooms:
The villa has four bedrooms and sleeps up to eight people.There are three bedrooms (two double and one twin) on the ground floor and on the first floor, a further double bedroom with its own panoramic views.

There is a bathroom (with bath, bidet and wash hand basin) and toilet on both the ground and first floor.

Beds and mattresses have been carefully chosen to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. As owners, we have in the past rented lovely villas ourselves, but our stay was spoilt by uncomfortable beds. With our own villa, we wanted to make sure that we have bought only the best for a good night’s sleep!

Kitchen:
The large kitchen is equipped with electric oven, gas hob, fridge / freezer and dishwasher and is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. For culinary adventurers, you will find a guest’s recipe book with many local recipes as suggestions. The kitchen also opens up onto the terrace, which is ideal for summer living, as you will probably want to serve food on the terrace. .

Laundry:
The laundry is equipped with the latest washing machine and separate tumble drier. There is a well-hidden washing line in the garden, so with the warm summer weather, you may not need to use the tumble drier. Ironing board and iron are also provided.
